Unfortunately I seem to have deleted the appropriate message, but I want to
thank whoever recommended the idea of eliminating the displayed "IF hump" by
putting the ground-loop isolator in the Line-In path. What a brilliant

I just got back from Radio Shack and hooked up the transformer. Made a big
difference. But I also noticed another strong spur down 22khz. The 11khz one
is almost gone now but the 22khz one may be a problem. Any reports of a 22khz

If it is actually a ground loop, I think my first approach would be
to try to find that loop and eliminate it, rather than spending $40
and a trip to a RS store.
