Hi all,
In case someone may have noticed, mpserver07 is down. We lost one of our cable
modems, and the ISP cannot get someone out here until tomorrow.
When we went with a static IP address in 2010, the ISP gave us an additional
modem unit. Now we have two running, and apparently one of them h

One-arcsec SRTM2 is well-known to be pretty 'dirty' and version2_1
doesn't make a big difference in this respect. In most cases you
should be better off using 3 arcsec, even for the U.S.

It looks like there are a number of holes in the SRTM-1 data. I don't know if
GRASS can export HGT files using r.out.binary so I'm not sure if I can fill
nulls, so I'll have to go back and re-generate the scenery using SRTM-3 data.
Cheers

The other elevation errors, do they still drop down to zero elevation as well?

Spoke too soon. The trees look great, but the frame rate hit makes it
unusable (from 30-35 to 2-4) even with the other shaders disabled.

Hello Maxime,
I had also noticed more instances of the grey poly with clipper than GPC.
As an experiment, on Saturday, I spent several hours gutting fgfs-construct
down to the bones. Although the grey polys didn't disappear completely, I
got Clipper producing as good results as GPC did.

Updated the merge request:.
Move snow line slider back to the rendering dialog.
Disable shader options with slider on 0 and show a message on how to enable
shaders.
Make vegetation checkbox independant of shaders (sorry Vivian, I did indeed
make a fault!).

Hi Gijs
I would be very happy with a "reflect" checkbox/property once. Just to
remember issue #295 (stalled, why?), this one is still broken with my
ati on osx, osg trunk. It is not broken at all, but it still produce
this renderbin draw errors filling my fgfs log to a huge file running

Just to add my opinion (since this was partly my suggestion)

I have an application which use FlightGear as a displaying background.

I have hope as the file size actually went down in this build, but perhaps
something else went awry.
The only change is remapping "Scrub" to "ShrubCover". Please let me know if
this works.
In other news, this is 3 square degrees of scenery -
