I am trying to create tables using an xsl-fo and an xml that has varying
sized tables of 2-3 columns.
I figured if I create 3 columns and specify the table-layout as "auto" it
would do the trick, as in:
It's great that things aren't all there yet. It provides lots of information
for working out the next version! I guess we new people sort of forget how
new this all is, and expect it to do everything all from the start. But I'm
sure that each new revision will pick up on some of the things the user
quite far with xml without it.

I just created my very first pdf from an FO, thanks to help I've received
here. But to my dismay, one of the graphics, which happens to be in .png
format, doesn't show in the pdf. I haven't had problems with pngs in pdf

I tried changing the

I’ve changed
the .tar.tar suffix to .tar.gz, but the zip function in Windows XP doesn’t
recognize it. I don’t seem to have WinZip installed anymore, since it’s

Hi Dan,
Please, read a little
more on the FOP site.
You use XSLT with XML
to create a .fo file, in the same way you use it to crate an xml file. Then
that file is converted to pdf with wop. Quite simple.
