Tim: a general point - unless the new version (of anything) contains something
you *must have*, IMHO it's always best to stick to what you know works.

Thanks to all who responded. A reply from Harpreet, Adobe Support, says that
the printing issue has been fixed. The other replies are mixed. One of my
clients is using FM10 and eventually, I will not be able to create documents
for them in FM8. I expect I will be upgrading soon.

I have a long list of bugs that I encountered when I was trying to
arrange FM10's windows and dialogs / pods the way I like them.
I reset FM10 to its defaults, left the UI in its default state, and
gave up on keyboard shortcuts for most things, that works better.
I'd use FM8 if I had a copy. Much
Hi Rob,
Sorry for your problems with the upgrade--I haven't experienced those,
because we're happy enough to just Save As PDF for the majority of our
books. (I haven't printed to .ps since Adobe fixed the PDF issue a
couple years back...)

I currently own Frame 8 at home. Was upgraded from Frame 8 at work to
Frame 10 because a newly acquired company writer had Frame 7. I still
hate Frame 10. The pods are an abomination as far as I am concerned.

No it doesn't. Printing a document or book of over 100 pages to PDF
takes 10 times as long as it did in FM9. Structure or unstructured,
makes no difference. Also no difference whether you save as PDF, print
to the Adobe PDF printer (assuming it hasn't uninstalled itself!), or
