on freebsd 4.11 how I enable hyperthreading? sysctl -a | grep
machdep.hlt_logical_cpus returns nothing.

Try /usr/ports/x11/kde3 and take a look at the Makefile, it
explains how to cancel out various options/components of kde
during the install.

You should check out rsnapshot. It does disk to disk backups either

PC bioses only let you boot off of drive C. If you install this
other drive as drive D then during the installation FreeBSD is going
to have to write a boot loader onto C so that when the PC boots

I'm running 5.4-PRERELEASE i386 as of last sunday. But the problem
