I'll have to research it. The security guy in me just gets the
heebie-jeebies over downloading random executable blobs from random (to
me) websites and running them... even on a 16 year old netbook running
FreeDOS that isn't a production machine for me. :-)

You can sometimes find drivers for later RealTek NICs (1GbE especially) in
vendor packaging from HP, Dell, IBM/Lenovo. You'll be surprised what

It is still active. means: It can happen that only some files will be copied, others not.
