Can someone help me configure Free Radius to authenticate Mac Addresses for
my wireless network. Below is a list of what I have done so far.
1. Free Radius is compiled and running.
2. I have the ip addresses of my access points in the clients.conf file
which I'm suppose to have I believe.

Dear Sir (Madam)!
I've used Freeradius 0.4 in my project to deploy
ISP. But it is a tar.gz file and I must complie it to
use. I want to find a freeradius-0.5.i386.rpm. How can
I find it? How can I build a tar.gz into .rpm file
(freeradius 0.4 or 0.5)?
Thanks !

You need to have the mysql source code or the mysql_devel RPM package
installed. Then run configure with --with-mysql-include-dir= [devel file or
source code path]

Can someone give me an example of what an entry will look like in the users
file for MAC Address authentication. I think I got the clients.conf file
setup correctly, but I'm not sure. I don't see any examples in the users
file for someone who wants to do MAC Address Authentication.

I've managed to get freeradius up and running on AIX V4.3.3, with gcc.
Limitations: dynamic loading doesn't realy work as expected.
Example:the loading of f.e. rlm_unix works, but the calls to f.e.
paircompare_register
fail with sigsegv.

Nope, can't be done via the 5x00. You *can* setup FreeRADIUS so that it
replicates/proxies records

The only error message I can find is:
Host 'name.outdomain.com' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with
'mysqladmin flush-hosts'
I know this is a mysql problem but fr

Hi All friends,
This is alok here.I'm facing a problem while compiling the free radius
server. While compiling I got messages about some parse errors in a file

Dear all,
A bit off topic. Does anyone know how to configure the AS5300 so it
passes accounting records to 2 FreeRadius sever simultaneously.
Thanks

thanks for all answer. The accounting attribute, I will check
