- One account
- Block of addresses (10.0.0.2/29, for example)
Could FreeRadius gives _free_ IP-address from that block to users which simultaneous
uses that account (radutmp with 'session' are enabled, I guess FreeRadius could know

I am using MySQL with FreeRadius 0.8.1, and RedHat 8.2, and testing with
NTRadPing. I also have SNMP_Session and BER installed.
I have put Simultaneous-Use := 1 into my radgroupcheck table. However, I
can still login the same user multiple times and it shows up into the
radacct table.

Are you trolling for email names? you posted your note twice to the
openssl mailing list. download that source and look in crypto/hmac.
RFC 2104 has a free hmac-md5 implementation.

that's a good question. the answer is: you can't. for the same reason
you can't use system accounts with CHAP. only hashes of the passwords
are available for your system accounts. evidently, the hash of the
password is not

winxp/session: i didn't test it but i think that it depends on whether
you use machine certificates or user certificates (in which container
you put the certs during the installation). there are also config
parameters regarding cert usage in your eap/tls configuration tab.

I've set up a Radius server for a WLAN,
using EAP-TLS with WinXp supplicants. I experience some problems wtih accounting.
It seems that it's not activated (nothing in the radacct directory), and
radwho doesn't find anybody when I'm logged.
