Can someone please post a copy of the output from radiusd -X when a
simultaneous login is detected, and freeradius runs the checkrad prog ..
I can't get checkrad to work, and just want to know what it should look
like when it does !!
thx ...

this. I am guessing that you have multiple
configurations in TNS - which you will have if you did not
delete the example ones that are installed when you
install the client.

Any pointers on where I could be going wrong appreciated.
Note: at this point my /usr/local/etc/raddb/users file is totally empty,
as I would like to have everything done out of the MySQL db .. is this
possible?
Thanks

Hi,
I have just installed Freeradius 0.7.1, and it will authenticate a user
(using NTRadping) from a MySQL database .. problem is, that as soon as I
try and add any extra A/V pairs
can probably adapt the radclient code that comes with free radius
easily.

I recently asked if Free Radius would recognize the Expiration-Date
attribute and was told it would, so that should work. It should send an
Auth-Reject if the current date/time is later than the expiration date.

The politically correct answer (since we are on an open source list here)
would be
FreeRadius and OpenLDAP (www.openldap.org)

Telnet just means to use a terminal server program like
Hyper-term, although hyper term is very buggy prior to
Win2000. Or on UNIX, the command is 'telnet' thus the
terminolgy.
