in the postgresql DB? i can add the DNS name to the 'nas' table but how
will freeradius respond to this - will it automatically resolve it to IP

If the 'radutmp' and 'radutmp sradutmp' sections ar completely
commented, the radius server wouldn't start. If only the content of
these modules are commented then anyway, the logs are written to all
three files. Any other idea?

But in the log file i'm getting "unknown attribute Lgin-Time..."
