Quick question. Is there any way to do some sort of allow all on
clients.conf. So FreeRadius wont care where the client is coming from,
as long as it has the secret.
The reason (obviously) is my radius server is external and NAS is on a
dynamic ip.
I can see why this might not be terribly g

Yeah, I hate RPMs. Had that same problem on my system (fedora core 3).
Who wants to spend time hunting for each one (which each have their
own dependencies)?
Try to install apt-get then you can do a nice little: apt-get
freeradius and apt-get freeradius-mysql, Very slick
I've heard yum is good to

Hi,
is it possible that because of the configuration of the proxy.conf (proxying
to an external radius), I don't use configuration on eap.conf (wich would
be use only for local authentication) ? It would be the explanation i send
EAP messages.

Hi everybody,
thanks to Daniil and Yvan who helped me, but unfortunalety, my problem still
alive.
First , I want to explain again what I want to do, because may be there is a
missunderstanding. I have a wireless system wich need EAP and my users are
allready known in a Radius system (Radius n°2)
freeradius
rm -rf /usr/local/etc/raddb
rm -rf /usr/local/etc/raddb
and reinstalled it (./configure, make, make install)
but error messages about ignoring EAP-Type stay alive. Do you have an idea ?
Could it be my problem.

Alan,
I installed first with apt-get an older version, then remove /etc/freeradius
and /etc/raddb and then install the new version 2.1.7 from freeradius.org.

I was thinking ... Is using virual machines (VMWare Workstation 6.0.2) could

I build MySQL on FreeBSD boxes which act as RADIUS servers without

What attributes do you get back with radclient ? Have you a test server
that you can run with -x to show what happens on such a request ? There
is just not enough info to know what the problem is...

I am trying to declare a user with EAP/SIM

I had a look to example in src/tests

Hello ,
In all the documents I read, It is written
that EAP MD5 and EAP TLS are implemented by freeRadius but
for EAP SIM is it supported in the current
version (freeradius-1.0.1) ?
If someone can answer, I would be very
pleased.
