My QoS scripts which is tc scripts(HTB/SFQ) with iptables connection
tracking which I manipulate via acct_users stop and start bits when the
users logs on. I use alot of scripts to make database checks for QoS

pppoe is very straight forward and an extension to pppd , this little
howto will guide u for pppoe, to use radius, u will have to use the
radius.so plugin for pppd

out, My radius server sees the NAS-Port-Type as Async whenever a vpn

Also run the same setup but not for alot users with rp-pppoe-server on
linux debian , they say pppoe is for testing only, how do u find the
load on on the pppoe-server when many users connect, cpu?, memory? etc?

U will get more info on the Poptop forum regarding this problem,
this is cause the radius plugin for pppd is not loaded or not compiled
properly with older versions . I recommend downloading the pppd-2.4.3
src OR rpm and compile the radius plugin and load it again

features
DEFAULT Acct-Status-Type == Start
Exec-Program = /bin/bash /usr/local/scripts/radius/radius.sh
