While it is a nice idea, it is not really a feasible for the same
reasons a Windows port is not. Freevo use some very Linux idioms. It
might be possible to get a fink-ified version of freevo running on a
Mac, but do not believe that a full port would really be worth the
effort. Just a fe
I too had plans to make a media center that runs on phone. Before I
started working on Freevo I was trying to make something like that for
a phone, but finally ended up writing an application called cTunes,
that looks like iTunes. cTunes can play audio, video and display

Hi,
seeing that freevo got accepted for SoC, a project that I would be

i.e. an .app-bundle that contains all libraries and support files, so
that users can do a drag & drop installation.
An nice extension of this would be the in

This information is really wonderful, especially for a newbie like me!
It really helps a lot getting an overview of the class hierarc
Hi Dischi,
did you ignore my second patch on purpose?
If not, I sent it again (against current svn).
It includes a "All Genre" menu entry to each category.

Hi all,
I thought that it would be nice to have some Pydoctor information about
freevo and kaa.
I took a while, as Pydoctor doesn't like some information in Freevo.
The kaa.metadata api documents are here:

and freevo rel-1 documents are here: http://www.linu
