and put the test.html into the
~/freevo-test/share/freevo/htdcos
directory, where also the index.rpy and the others are, then i started freevo

Hi,
While ago we talked about xine stoping to respond to commands. Well...
the problem seems to xine itself [1].

Hi,
It´s easy. xine now has a "VIDEO_SEND_XINE_CMD", so you just have to
bind a key to command. I have this on my local_conf.py
EVENTS['video']['SUBTITLE'] = Event(VIDEO_SEND_XINE_CMD, arg='SpuNext')
EVENTS['video']['LANG'] = Event(VIDEO_SEND_XINE_CMD, arg='AudioChannelNext')
"SUBTITLE" and "LAN
Hi all,
I'm just about to upgrade to fedora core 7, and freevo 1.7.2
However in the processes and some early testing with a live CD I
rebooted my machine, after a few weeks up uptime. Its come back with far
more memory free, and the responsiveness of freevo has dramatically
increased. Parsing
I would like to press a button or two on my IR remote command, and switch
from audio channel, or switch from subtitle language in the DVD displayed by
xine.
Is it possible?
Which event should I configure in freevo?

And it is really nice to know that a problem has been solved and how.
Great stuff, thanks

Hi gang,
I really like the tv.recordings_manager plugin. I wonder if it is
possible to extend the function of this feature to include all of the
items in the 'Watch a Movie' section (maybe even the Music section as
well?)? The feature I am specifically after is the ability to add a flag

Nothing. You just have to "be" in the main menu, not in a submenu,
like "Watch a movie".

Not yet. It's just part of some experimentation of dischi's.

Look great - thank you very much! Provide that extra detail that people
will need to explain the options.
Especially the kernel and distro information :D

Maybe use kaa.notifier as basic framework. Doing this would make the
code compatible with 2.0. We only need to feed xmlrpc into
kaa.

I think that I may dump Twisted from the servers, except the webserver.
Python has a xmlrpc module in the library and this is
well i have created a little side which automatically initiates 2 vlc streams
when i open it
directly from my tv card for live tv streaming and watching over the internet,
one stream is a mms
stream and the other is a http stream i also wrote a littel script which makes

Thanks for the info, its always good to see people contributing back howtos!
I've update this page:
http://freevo.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/doc/TVConfig
to have a link to DVB dual tuner support,
And then basically copy and pasted your email info into the page:

Great!
I have two dvb cards too, and was trying to use both of them in freevo, but
without success. Finally I have installed vdr and I'd rather this solution
for now because it can do time shifting and simultaneous recordings.
Nevertheless many thanks for the recipe
