Hey!
I recently bought a Sanyo PLV-Z2 to my home theatre. But when I use freevo I
get wrong aspect ratio on everything (4:3/16:9 files/TV).
I have played around with autocrop and "use wid", but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
It's quite irritating ;).

The stream is in wmv9, and yes, i have the codecs

I'm using the example fxd with german

I get it to start caching, but it just caches for

I updated to the newest version (non-cvs) this weekend. Nice work guys!
I just love the new skin and features. Best freevo ever! =)
But however, as usually, i get some weird errors ;).
When I first started freevo it worked fine, but the second time it

I downloaded the source from cvs ~2 weeks ago, and it worked just fine. Are

Ok, this might not be directly related to freevo, I
spoke with rob about this and he said that it might be in mmpython.
But anyway, the problem arised when I upgraded to
1.3.4..
When I start freevo it starts caching information
of my files, or something like that.. It uses lots of ram (~200

Freevo tries to mute the device when you exit the tv, and if the device

you'll get that msg and freevo crashes.

If it's in X it's already covered in the mailinglist.

and then it worked.
what do you get if you run em8300setup -q ? Does everything looks ok?

As I wrote in the wiki, it's just the makefile that
fails atm (might change in the future).
You se a + char on one line, that's the line that
failed.
so just open up your configure.in in your favourite
editor and add that line somewhere among
the other src/video/blah/Makefiles (around line
link in the wiki wasn't

Anhoo I'm sure I can get round that one way or
another.

Well, it seems like it checks the lenght and dimensions of every file in the
directory (resurcive)
the first time you enter it. I just updated to 1.3.4, it took about 5 min
for me to enter my "tv archive".
It's about 300G with lots of files/directorys. (via [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
So just obey the dial
ic patched driver src now... so that
seems ok, as far as I can tell everything else compilied

Also, maybe try and put the card in a windoze box, and see
if windows can see the card to make sure it even works.

Heya
Ok, this question isn't really related to freevo,
but i know many of you ppl are using those cards. Someone of you

I have some problems with my sound output.
All ac3/dd works perfectly, but when i try to run a

I dont get any sound :/
Anyone run into this problem?
// Johan
Yes, it will take ages ;)
A friend of mine compiled it in 4-5h with his 2.4ghz cpu ;)
But you dont really need X, you can run freevo in framebuffer mode and
output it on your tv.
I use a dxr3 card and I dont have X installed on my htpc.
