I fetch the xml epg data every night and replace the old TV.xml automatically.

my problem:
I've spent my sb live an Hoontech I/O III extension with optical digital out.
Passing through with mplayer to my ac3 receiver
and the -ac hwac3 options works fine, if the audio stream of the movie is an ac3 track.
But if I enable the options permanently in local_c
board control seems to be deactivated what makes
sense to me. Must I configure a special lirc button for confirm or is it an real error
?

I'm a little bit confused about tvmixer,alsa and btaudio:
I've tried to force btaudio to specific dsp-devices with the modules options,
but it doesn't work. So loading without snd-pcm-oss module leads btaudio to
dsp0 (digital) and dsp1 (analog). If snd-pcm-oss is loaded it results into dsp

So that's the problem: it seems that the dxr3 output and the www-server plugin
of freevo 1.3.4 doesn't work together. All video playback with mplayer
starts with an error message and crash of freevo:

Is this problem solved ? I was running into this trouble yesterday.
I'm sure it's not a misconfiguration problem, because mplayer works
fine without freevo and my last working backup (1.3.4) restored has
the same problem. So what's the reason ? I can't backtrace the reason for
this trouble.

yes, it's not simple to get the HW+ to work but with freevo 1.3.4
I succeeded after some pitfalls. I'm remembering the python game error and
it frustated me. The key is a correct working patch version of the sdl lib
(1.2.5).
