I think it may just be a buffering problem, as the videos seem to play
fine in VLC. Sometimes, the video in VLC freezes for a second. Sorry
for the delay; I'll try to do some more research on it before I open
something on the tracker. (I suppose I should at least try a bigger buffer)

Thanks Adam. Unfortunately, it still seems to have problems, but only
on certain videos - others play fine. Quits after 30 seconds or so -
very strange. Perhaps an mplayer problem, or cache set not high
enough. Granted, there aren't many args you can set - I assume 'video'
is what is used for y

John is right. The you-tube plugin in 1.9 has been broken for many
months now. If you SVN the newest freevo, you can steal the plugin out
to use in 1.9. (Can't steal the apple trailer plugin though)
I'm having a bit of trouble with it and mplayer - I think my cache may
be set to low as sometime

Hello Ivan,
why should I change the DNS Server? When I use youtube-dl from the
command line, it works perfect. I have a working internet connection...
Nevertheless I changed my DNS Server to google's. It didn't work!
Any other suggestion? Thanks!

Hello,
I read the last post from Dan (2011-01-21 00:29).

"But plugin don't work. I see list of results videos, but if I click on video I
see string "Connection to server" and it's all. How to enable debug for detect
error?"
I have
Adam fixed it (Thanks Adam!), get it from SVN - it works in 1.9.0.
Read my post on the 16th about it.
I've noticed that a some videos seem to spontaneously stop playing
after 10-20 seconds. They work in vlc though - I'll look into it
more when I get a chance. (
