I have a PowerBook Floppy Drive Expansion Bay Module for a 3400, (I no
longer have a 3400) that I am putting on ebay and was wondering if someone
on the list was interested before I put it up? Contact me off list if
interested and with an offer.

Hi all,
I'm considering buying a Lombard with 192Mb RAM and a 333Mhz processor, but
wanted to know whether this machine has enough under the hood to run OS X at
a relatively snappy pace.
Cheers,
Adam.

I have a Wallstreet 233 happily running 10.1.5 - though it needed a
RAM boost to 288 to find a smoothness in operation.

I posted an article on running OS X on Lombard Wallstreet recently here:

Well, I have a Lombard 333 and my daughter wants to run OS X and iTunes on
it.
Just for the flub of it, I _just_

I went really cheap. Lexmark Z32. It was free with my G4 Tower.
What about sharing it with Macs running 8.6 and 9?

I remember that. Bought my daughter's Lombard when she left
the record label. Soon discovered the trackpad was faulty. And
damn, they couldn't find the receipt. Typical. Then a friend said
I was probably dangling another finger along with my pointer one.
Impossible! I nearly clenched my fist.

I recently made a pilgrimage to see the geniuses at Smalldog - great bunch.
In talking about battery life, now that my year-old Ti-Book battery is
failing, they mentioned I could extend battery time by turning off the
Airport card when I'm on the road anyhow. Anybody got other ideas like
that?
Ted,
I can vouch for these zippered carrying cases for zip CD drives, etc., I
have three from MCE Technologies:

Hi,
It looks like the power adapter solder connection on my Wallstreet's mother board is
broken. What's the secret to getting the case apart so I can resolder the connector?

Digital drive out of the cage it was in and put it in a brand new cage and
all the data are there and it the drive works like a honey.
Odd, I never thought that I would have problems with my backup drive before

Anyone know whether 10.2 will come with 9.2.2 included?
No it will not. All the Mac sites are reporting it today.
I can't find anything on Macintouch, MacFixit, MacMinute, or
MacSlash, so all seems an overstatement, how about a link to just one?
I'm running 9.0.4 and was going to switch to

I don't know if it was on another list or on Apples OSX forum site but I
read a post the other day from a guy who had called Apple and that he
was told on the phone that yes indeed 9.2.2 was included with Jaguar.
Personally I don't care as I do own 9.2 but will the classic environment

I'll reply to my own post as I figured it out. You have to remove all the Torx screws
on the bottom, and the four Torx screws on the back inside the connector door that
hold the display hinges. Remove the keyboard, heat spreader, hard disk, modem, cpu
board (it lifts up), and the screw that
