I assume problems with pixels can be repaired. What is the cost? If a laptop has a
few dull pixels in a corner is that something I should be concerned about?

It's apparently a very common things to have stuck pixels on a laptop's
LCD.

I don't know if it actually has spyware in it, I just know it's
Microsoft's reputation to often include spyware in many of their
products, sometimes disguised as security updates. I'm not sure about
