Hi,
I am reconsidering the Superdrive model of the Powerbook and am now
considering getting the combo drive with an external firewire DVD burner.
I understand they are faster than the superdrive burner.
Just wondering if anybody has gone this route, and if so which burner you
have and how well
Looking to add in a FireWire/USB 1.1 PCMCIA combo card AND also add in a
802.11b card to a Wall St. running OS 9.2.2. I will be upgrading to X later so if
these cards can be made to work with X that would be good.
Any recommendations? The Wall St. fortunately has 2 card slots.
Thanks guys,
Dear Bruce,
Your help here was absolutely perfect. The transition was clear as a bell!
Thanks so much for your help!

I've seen Jaguar selling on ebay at under 40 bucks, and it is a HUGE leap

having to do clean installs, etc on a regular basis. Jaguar is a dream come

I would get USB 2.0. It's quite a difference from 1.0. Good pick on

How important is the size of the data buffer? I see both 2mb and
8mb on various models I am interested in. And how much faster is 5400
to 4200 on Pismo 400? Would the 5400 spin louder than the 4200?
Thanks.

If you're talking about autofill in internet browsers, yes, it's working in
Safari and Mozilla.
