I'm looking at getting a card from Macsense for my walstreet. They
have 802.11b and g cards now. Both are OS 9 and X compatible.
Though, I haven't read any reviews yet.

Setting up a WallStreet 300MHz, I've run into a curious problem:
There's a modem in it, the Modem control panel sees it okay and it
connects to the 'Net, and the GlobalFax Modem Campatibility Tester
says it's fine (Good mews! GlobalFax for G3 and iMac will work with
your modem
I have particular files stored as Word documents (iBook G3 900MHz, Word X
from Office X) that I cannot open.
These are files that I copied and pasted into new blank Word files (and then
saved to various locations) because they downloaded poorly from the Net.

Try Open With: in the contectual (ctr-click) menu.
Choose (or Navigate) to Word.
If this works, Get Info on all those files, goto Open With, select

I also had a failing hinge on my Wall Street PB and the
latch was not catching either. I chose their hinges over
Apple's for $10 extra. I sent them the PB on Monday
and got it back yesterday.

A few days ago I wrote about a problem w/maintaining connections on
my Wallstreet. I'm still having trouble, fwiw. My apple sys profiler
simply told me my modem was in use; no further information can be
gathered.
