I'm using a PowerBook Pismo G3 400 with Airport card and another friend
has a iBook G3 800 with Airport card. Both units are using Panther OS.
Is it possible to share files via wireless? My friend's place does not
have internet connectivity, so apart from using a crossover cable, I

Are there any reason why an Orinoco Gold card shouldn't work in the
PCMCIAslot and IOXperts latest driver. IOXPerts state their software is
compatible with both the card and all the Powerbook G4s. So what gives?

tell me whether the 20gb drive from a Snow G3 ibook will work in my
lombard? Anyone know offhand the speed of this ibook drive? Thanks for any

what are the specs I need to look for when shopping for a bigger HD?

Very interesting and useful advise.
The first pattern I've noticed is that I can boot from
an installer disc or Tech Tools but if something goes wrong and
it freezes or I shut down to switch CDs then I cannot reboot again

A much cheaper option would have been to get an iCurve or similar, although
I wish I had thought to tell my wife that what I really needed was a 19
monitor ;-)
Price is not an issue (at all), I am limiting it to 19 because I

NONE of these cards are supported as per their website:
