The crack is right near the display release. On another note, I found

I just purchased a dead Pismo, which according to the seller
had been dropped. I'm trying to revive it. The case has a small
crack but otherwise it appears to be in very good physical condition.
It won't power on, and there are no lights on the battery etc--no sign
of power whatsoever.
