I would like to upgrade the hard disk on my keylime clamshell, G3
466mhz model.
This is a tricky operation and any advise is welcome from someone who
has done this before. First question I have is: where do I find a 40Gb
disk and which one should I get?
thanks, Boudie

I've been given a Wallstreet Family M4753 1998
233MHz-512K/32MB/2GB HD/4MB vieo/CD/Modem
It's dead.
First I wonder if the above numbers verify that it is the VersionII?
Secondly, I'll describe it's symptoms in
and the watch the DVD.
Do you have a clamshell SE (graphite)? Mine is a Blueberry 300mhz,
which will not play DVD's.

I had the Wallstreet that had the disallowed symbol while starting in 10.2
I borrowed a ibook and moved my HD over. It still had the disallowed symbol
so I put a 9 start-up CD in, and after starting from that told the HD to
start from 9.
Put it back in the Wallstreet and it is running again in
I am working on my Wallstreet.
First it had a bad dc card (plug moved up and down)
It wouldn't charge right so I replaced it.
With that in place I put in the batteries and they would not charge.

Did you add any memory to it?

About a year or two ago, I think that it has 256
Then, you might want to take it out to see, although you might not have
enough memory left to install OS X. I've read a lot of complaints from
Lombard users unable to install OS X and many times,

If the PMU board is bad, then symptoms include not charging the batteries,
which in turn cause the drain of the PRAM rechargeable battery, I think. If
your CD drive doesn't work, then it might be toasted or the logicboard is
defective.

I have a Wallstreet 266
I installed a new DC card last week
And then I installed 10.2 working fine until the next day.
Now it will not start all the way

It looks like 9.2 is going to start but after a short time the screen goes

After a short time I get
Don't have my Wallstreet with me now to look, but isn't there a little

Like I said I have tried everything, the Wallstreet combo for reset is shift

But is still goes through the same start-up and
I have run into a problem with my Wallstreet. Running OS 9.2.2 with
the USB extensions installed and decided to try the Keyspan USB Card.
When I boot up with the card in the slot, the PB hangs after it gets to

Take the card out and

What is the highest X that I can put on my Wallstreet 266?
Is it worth upgrading the processor?
Thanks,
