I'm quite enjoying the 20GB Seagate Momentus drive I picked
up for my Wallstreet. I went with Seagate for their reputation.
This drive should also work in your Lombard without problems.

Many thanks to James, Bob and the others who answered my request.
Having set the processor to save power when on battery exactly was
the culprit! Now the card works fine. Such a simple solution to a

I have no idea if this is related or not, but my OrangeLink Firewire

even recognized in the System Profiler.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks Anne. Yes, I found Temperature Monitor but it does not support
the sensors on the WS.
And yes, It is Gauge Pro from Newer Tech. It appears to work
quite well, but doesn't appear to run in 'classic' from within
OS X.

I don't believe the thermistor has failed because it does successfully
provide readings when using Gauge Pro in OS 9.

Reading on xlr8yourmac.com some people are saying that the controller

I thin the module you're asking about probably wont work.

Not to break your perception, but I have had both and the 66/266 is IMHO
definitely snappier than the 83/250. At least under OS X.
I didn't mean to imply that my machine was faster than a system w/
a 66MHz bus. Just my opinion that it's snappy. I just moved up from my
1400 :)

Well, for my part
. This would make sense as a recommendation because the
250 and 292MHz systems run on a 83MHz system bus. Where as the 233, 266
and 300MHz systems run on a 66MHz system bus. To make it less likely for customers
to run into memory speed related issues, just tell them to use PC100.
