The alternative is the 330, which is CDRW only.
http://www.pcliquidator.com seems to have a few of the
UJDA-330, as well as the UJDA-320F4. They also have a laptop DVD/CDRW
drive by NEC.

You can get replacement LCDs at $500, possibly even lower ---
I'm currently checking up a lead for a new replacement screen for my
Lombard for $185.
