I have an Aluminum G4 15 with the original 1 speed DVD-R burner, OS
10.4.3. I've been trying to burn about 800 MB of data onto a blank
4.7GB DVD-R. I get a message that there is not enough room on the disk.
There should be plenty of room and the hard drive has lots of room to
create a scratch
Thanks for the responses . Even though I used it almost everyday, I
guess I left it unplugged for a day or two when it stopped working.
Resetting the Power Manager didn't do the trick. I've left it plugged
in now for 3 days and today it booted up. Go figure.

My Pismo recently stopped booting up. No life at all. No green lights
on the battery. It had poor battery life but I kept it plugged in all
the time. I've tried removing the battery and swapped power cords with
one I know was working but still no response. What could be the problem

station are extreme but the Pismo isn't. Is that an issue? I've
installed every available update and I think all firmware is up-to-date.
Again, it will connect briefly about every third reboot and then just quit

Any suggestions?

prompted to do so now.
8. In the Burn Disc window, click the disclosure triangle.
9. Select the checkbox for Allow additional burns.
A disc burned with this setting will remain open to subsequent multi-session

the burning capability stopped being recognized.
I've also tried Toast but it doesn't recognize the drive either.
Does anyone know if there is any hope for me to get this drive to burn

Whenever I purchase an expensive item on Ebay I ask if I can use a postal
money order. If they refuse to take it, I take my purchase elsewhere.
If you pay with a postal money order and get scammed, it becomes a federal
offense and the United States Postal Inspection Service then becomes
involved.

First the question:
Can I safely add OS9 drivers to my 10.2.2 disk without having to reformat
the drive? If so, how?
Now the explanation:
When I upgraded to 10.2, I formatted the drive and installed everything
anew. When it asked if I wanted to add OS9 drivers I said no because I
