Hello, I am having a problem with my 300mhz ibook. I was using it on the internet through my router and it kept dropping connections. Then all at once it will not connect at all. I went to the network settings and it kept going back to internal modem setting. I finally got that problem fixed, but

Is anyone out there running a G3/300 "clamshell" iBook with more than 160 megs of ram? According to the book that came with it, it says it only supports 128 mb chips, but as someone pointed out MacTracker says it will support 288megs (apple). Hi, I just purchased a ibook 300mhz from a yard sale. It seemed to be in perfect shape in the box with all cords and packing. However the battery does not seem to be working. I can get it to work plugging in the ac adapter, but all I get is an X through the battery even though they are installed.
