Loading 10.2 on Wallstreet II 512m

I can get to the point where it is loading the final stages of disc 1 and my screen goes buggy and does not allow me to continue, either the screen will wash out or will have funky color changes. I have tried to use xpostfacto and get even less far (barely goes into the splash install screen

Sometimes when the screen is about to go to the spinning disc under the apple, the screen gets a bunch of horizontal lines and everything grinds to halt. This happens to me sometimes too. I just restart, and everything is fine. Never happens when the computer wakes from sleep though. sometimes

Hi Everybody, I am trying to install 10.2 on my Wallstreet. I have a g4 upgrade card on the way. I can install 10.1 just fine however when I go to install 10.2 the backlight on the screen doesn't come on. I finished the install and the first time it came up it worked. Every time since
