My powerbook is the one with 2 megs video ram. Panther installs fine but the 2 megs cannot deal with the video. Strange and annoying artifacts. Turn video to 8 bit and all is well as can be under 8 bit. Regarding open firmware, The only way to get into open firmware on this model(500 mhz
