Mad Dog Tom and Lisa Peters [EMAIL PROTECTED] have suggested that it's a failing backlight. It is the backlight, you really don't need to worry until it fails, but when it does you will have serious trouble seeing anything on the screen. It's sort of like a florescent lamp going bad. Just

Your Pismo's lighting for the display is getting old. Mine has done that since I got the Pismo in June of this year. From what I understand from previous threads on this list, it is a replaceable item that you may wish to have someone else do. IIR, the cost is about $60-$70 for the job TM. I'm
