Simply put, an ibook comes with a VGA adapter, which means it should work with most monitors. There is another adapter for $20 to plug it in to a TV, and I think a similarly priced one for hooking up to a newer, more advanced flat screen LCD monitor. Plug the two together and that's it. t

You can hook up an external Monitor to an iBook, but it will only mirror the display from the iBook. So if the top resolution of the iBook is 1024 x 758 that's what the external monitor will be. Since the iBook can only mirror the external display, both the iBook and external monitor will show the
