There's a good bit of difference between the early 667 TiBook and the DVI 667. The biggest thing is that the newer one adds 1MB of level 3 cache, so there is a significant speed boost, as I understand. I just bought this very unit to replace my Pismo, and I couldn't be happier. Airport rece

I have the chance to buy a 15" G4/667 Powerbook with Airport, DVD, 20Gb drive, and 512mb RAM, (...) Would it be new enough to be an Albook, or would it be a Ti? I can get it for about $900. AFAIK the first 15" AlBook was 1 or 1.25 GHz model (announced in the second half of 2003). I'd guess yours

No personal experience here, but I've read that all the G3 iBooks (white) had this problem, except the 500 mHz model. Apple claims to have this problem licked with the g4 iBook though, AFAIK. Personally, I've only owned it for a few months, but I really really really ike my iBook G4. I feel it
