If you don't think the scratch is biggie, perhaps you can talk them
into giving you some cash for the damage and you can go on your merry
way... That would be something I would look into.

When I was at the Apple Store for a problem (it is 85 miles away) a AlBook
came in for a customer that had the top replaced and it had a plastic sheet
stuck to it for protection during shipping. I would think the Apple Store is
your best bet for the best service, even though the drive is a pain.

I just got my powerbook back from its second trip to texas for work,
