I went on and put it to work in my DA. According to Xbench, frames/sec is worse for the 9800 (58 for the Geforce, 42 for the 9800), but overall visual performance seems better ... also lose a point in overall Xbench score. Maybe attribute that to the 9800 taking care of OS X things better

So was that the 256mb version or the 128mb ? I have a friend who has a Sawtooth and the 128mb 9800 card and he has no problems with it and that is also with two PCI slots filled and three hard drives as well. He only used it for light use too - no video encoding or anything like that. Stewie
