Howdy, I'd say it depends on what you use the computer for. Is it your only computer or one of 10(although I don't know how anyone would get by with only 10 computers)? If it is your main computer, then go with an up to date Linux, because of security. A 1st class firewall can help, but for

The other thing I thought of ... does your SATA cable come loose when you shut the tower's door? Those cables don't seem to fasten very snugly ... some are right angled at one end, may look good when the door is open, but angled wrong when shut ... maybe that is part of the issue ...

Well the Yikes board slipped right into the BW. I did have to scrap they keyboard and mouse because they were ADB. I noticed on the Yikes board that there was a place for the connector to go. I don't know if putting the surface mount capacitors and swapping the plug would allow ADB operations?
