these DIMMs are running at 100MHz (underclocked) so they perform the same. if you could make them run at 133 the CPU would also be OC'd by 33.33% and therefore probably freeze up. that speed generally is beyond what the CPU can do. and the fans can't take it. some of the G3's can be OC'd well,

you need to buy a PRAM battery before trying this. it may be the issue with booting. if you wont buy the battery , abandon the project. they only last 3 years, not 11. no mac or that era will run reliably with a dead battery and startup issues are a common symptom. any PATA drive will work, but
