Asterix has already set up a test repo with hg, I checked it out via
ssh and everything seemed to work fine, even the test trac with
mercurial worked fine :). The only thing left is to map the old svn
revision IDs to the matching hg revision IDs.
Asterix said we'll switch after 0.12 :).

I vote for switching from SVN to DVCS and below I want to outline why. Because
Gajim is mostly implemented in Python, I guess Mercurial (hg) [1] could be the
best
choice.
For me DVCS has only advantages ;-)
