Hi Phil, Ideally a time trial to get placement would be the best way to do this. However, in order for me to create such a feature into the game I would have to have certain data in hand like what is the fastesttime on record to complete that track, and what was the slowest time to qualify.

It depends. I don't think there is much point supporting game pads that connect via the oldstyle game ports as usb has replaced all these. And they were the first ports to go. I here now that 3.5 floppies, serial, monitor and paralel ports are all history now although you still can install them.
