well following directions from someone I went in and did an ipconfig
/release to release my IP. then went into the router entered the
following into port forwarding box

ok the server initialized ok but when I connect I get an error. so I
went to whatismyip.com got my IP, went into the router, comcast modem
router all in one box... went to advanced, port forwarding, put in other
as the service, typed in my server in the other edit box

well the search feature won't always find everything, I had to do
weird things to get supernova to even start normally things like
rebuilding the indexes and pinning the program to the task bar.
however after that was all said and done it works.
However I am happy I have still a native xp system
