Hi John,
Can you point me to a section of the manual that suggests this to be the
case? If I made a mistake somewhere I'll have it corrected immediately.
Though the official price is always that which is displayed on the
blastbay.com ordering page, as Thomas says.
Kind regards,

Hi John,
The calculation is correct but it should say Pro Unlimited, not Pro Single.
I will change that.

Actually, that already exists. Its just that not too many people know
about it or have joined. The list is

hi, all,
I can't seem to make the game speak the objectives at any point unless I sit
and wait for two minutes. Therefore, I seem to be doing things a bit out of
order. I can bring up the notes by swiping from right to left, but swiping left
to right to speak objectives isn't registering at
Hello Thomas
That sounds like a good idea to me. I think that a lot of people would
get a great use out of it if you did that.

Hi John,
Well, as I am primarily a commercial developer I don't really know of
any free sound sites, but I can give you a list of good places to buy
commercial libraries.
Audio Sparx

Shockwave Sound

Sound Dogs

I did a google search for download free game sounds and I got a lot of
good sites to download game sounds from. You should give it a look.

What's the average price per sound on these? I took a look at some of
soundDogs sounds yesterday, and they were asking $3.5 per sound or so, which
is rather out of my budget. I've scene soni selling a couple libraries of
sounds for around $0.25 to $1 per sound, is this generally average?
Hi John,
Generally it is a bad idea to buy individual sound effects, for the exact
reason you mention. They tend to be rather expensive. It is when you buy
entire packages, such as a CD or even a set of CD's, that the price per
sound drops to practically nothing. But then you still have to
Hi John,
Depends on the license of the sound, but usually I find sounds cost
somewhere between $1.00 and $3.00. However, price varies do to length,
quality, license, and other things. Just shop around until you find a
sight that is in your personal budget.
Cheers!

Hi Kimberly,
Well, if the game is that old I doubt it would run on a modern PC in
any case. I don't know how your friend developed said game, but if it
was written during the 16-bit era of software and processors its
pretty much a no go for anyone running Windows 7 or Windows 8 on a
64-bit
I'm certainly going to be purchasing large amounts of sounds at once (if I
do purchase any), which is why I'd prefer to default to free sounds where
possible. I haven't done much research into buying libraries though, do you
know if many of them offer downloads instead of physical media?
I've personally never found many free sounds that were of satisfactory game
quality.

Hi John,
Yes, most of the professional sound distributors offer their material as
digital downloads. The Hollywood edge certainly does, and so does Sound
Ideas as far as I'm aware.

Hi all,
I am currently using a trigger file that I downloaded from the Altar
Aeon website, but I want to create my own trigger file. My question is
how can I read the MUD’s text without logging on or is that not
possible? Basically, do I have to actively be playing to retrieve the
incoming text
