Not to mention the fact as far as I am aware the end user can drop just
about any wav file in the Kitchensinc folder they want, name it to the
sound they want to change, and change it.
I've done that a number of times with games I didn't like the sounds for.

names which would change all the time etc. It would definitely take a large
professional company to produce such a game.

Yes, you could edit the baseball.rec file to change the name of your team.
However I should tell you that when you install version 3 or 4 it will delete
that file and the saved game file. I had to do that because they are in a
slightly different format for the new version.

I have not found any setting in the sapi5 SDK for giving the voices echo or any
other special effects. Only rate and volume.
If anyone knows of such features I sure would like to hear about it.
