Hi Phil,
Thanks. It was just an idea I was throwing out there.

Hi Michael,
Hmmm...I guess I didn't notice it, but you are right. Wordpress does use
headings for messages and other sections of the blog. I don't know how I
missed that, but I stand corrected. :D
Cheers!

Hi Dark,
Interesting. Well, unfortunately not all screen readers can read by
sentence, paragraph, etc so most of us rely on jumping back and forth to
headers on a web page etc. If they aren't there on a web page then it
makes it more difficult to quickly jump to a section or topic of

just find it interesting that when so often discussing navigating webpages
the first thing so many people who use jaws will talk about is
headings, - something I myself tend to take little or no note of.

Hi Tom.
I don't think it's anything to do with the actual blog format as such. The
simple idea of jernal style long news posts in sequence is absolutely fine,
and there are a number of sites who's blogs I regularly check simply because
I'm interested in what the person in question has to say.
Well won't say I hate them, but with jaws they can be a lot. I mean
more stuff gets repeated like in forms its the tag line and makes you
read the whole page just for a small bit. It wouldn't be bad if they
at least made them with navigation. The usage of headers is going and

Hi Mike,
Actually, it does. Blogs do tend to be less accessible simply because
there often is a lot of content and not many ways to skip passed the
stuff you don't want to read and get to the stuff you do want to read.
The only way I've managed to solve that issue is on Linux pressing the

Sure. All makes sense. Like I said to Mike I am familiar with the

Hi Dark,
Right. I think I still may have some categories on the news page, but
they certainly won't take over the entire page. They'll probably be
posted at the end of the news article. That way you can just press h to
jump to the next article without looking at the links to more associated

Sure. I am on the USA Games list, the Audyssey list, as well as the AG

Hi Dark,
That's kind of what I've been thinking. I could write some php scripts
to give the news page the look and feel of a blog but just write it up
in straight html code. Its not that hard to add a little code to the end

Hi tom.
I don't comment on every post, but I view the blog every day.
In fact I check blogs before I check mail.
Saying that, with the volume of news you post and the long breaks in
between, pluss the fact that a lot of us use the audiogames forum,

Hi Shaun,
Well, unfortunately one user doesn't really make the blog worthwhile.
From what I've read on this thread so far most people don't use the
blog, don't care to use the blog, and feel I might as well as go back to
a straight html news page. Which is probably what we will end up doing
Hi Shaun,
Sure. I know about antispam plugins but I wanted to know how many people
actually use the blog before I actually begin installing and configuring
plugins to crack down on the spam. Plus in my opinion if I have to add
audio capchas to the blog then I think my purpose has already
