Hi Charles,
Yes, thank you. I forgot, I was going to mention that the default is an iron
when you choose a club above a four. In the original dos game you had to press
w or i. It may have even been that way for the first few windows versions as
well.

Hi Nicol,
I would recommend that you do not try to choose wood if you choose a club above
a 4 since in my game those are all irons. Only the 1, 2, 3 and 4 have both
woods and irons. One reason that it asks is because if it didn't, it would
start the indicator sound as soon as you chose someth
Hello jim
nicol here. A question regarding the clubs in your golf game. If I choose any
club above 4 why does the game present me with the choices wood and iron?
If I press enter on wood after choosing 5 for instance, mary says: that is not
a choice and I hear bart simpson saying: dho.

Hi Nicol,
Out of bounds means that you hit the ball clear off of the golf course. So
actually many if not all of the descriptions that I added would actually be
considered out of bounds.

Hi Nicol,
When the golf game says, shot went 300 yards. It's 200 yards from the green
and is 24 yards off line in the fairway. Off line means that it is 24 yards
left or right from center. So that would be slightly further from the green
than if you were 200 yards from the green and your sho
Hi Dean and Charles,
Thank you very much for answering Nicols questions about the descriptions and

Hi Mark,
The golf82c.zip file is an old dos version of my golf game from 1998. You do
not want it. You want wingolf7.exe from my free windows text to speech games
page.
So if you have the winkit.zip file on your computer all you need to do is
highlight it by pressing the space bar on it and

Hi Nicol,
You should not ever be able to use the 1 wood other than on your first tee

really should always get that message about where did you learn to play golf if
you try to use the 1 wood other than on your first sho

no problem Jim, it was also something that I was doing wrong, that I figured
out acidently. I thought that they golf courses would have a number like the

accidently hit the arrow down key and found the golf courses. No harm no

Weird ... I made up one and it showed up in the list of courses to play
along with the other courses that were previously listed, if I remember
right. I had no idea what I was doing so it's probably not authentic, but
hey, it was my first attempt ... smile.
