Hi Nicol,
Umm... So far as I know you are the only user having any real difficulty
with it. I load games from the main menu often, and as long as I wait
for the menu to come up without pressing any keys it usually works fine.

Hi Nicol,
Yeah, I have noticed that. Generally, I just wait a few seconds before
pressing any keys. I just wait for the menu to appear.
\Alternatively I sometimes find it quicker to start a new game and press
f4 to get back into the game I saved earlier.

I suggest just using the f4 choice once the level has started as that is the
way the engine likes to do it.
