Well, an inicial look suggests that the windows version at least wll work with Hal, much in the same way smugglers did. I'm also however trying the transcendence game mentioned on the website for interest's sake. I suspect that despite being another space sim game it'll be too graphical

Hi Darren, On the whole, the games are very accessible with either program. The Windows version, in particular, is quite easy to use once you get used to it. I just prefer the Dos one since Linux is my system of choice now days, and I've usually had unexplained problems with the Windows version

Hi. I love this idea. If we can get enough players together, I'd love to play some of the advanced scenarios, or at least the eight-player scenario that comes with the basic game. I actually prefer the Windows version as its map is usable, but I suspect the turn files are interoperable.
