Hi Cherife
I added "ip <-> host_name" in /etc/hosts with linux.
I could get host name from gmond lcoalhost, but I could not get host name from
gmetad server.
I executed below command from gmond client.
gmond_client $ sudo /etc/init.d/gmond start
gmond_client $ curl localhost:8649
...
...
...

Hi, I use ganglia 3.0.7.
I could not get host name from remote host.
My gmond configuration is below.
/etc/gmond.conf

used to only support having a single channel */

The proper way to fix this is have your pbs server submit ganglia
information on a different port
I think I see the problem,
I don't want ganglia to report on the nodes running pbs_server. I only
care about the compute nodes. having non compute nodes in ganglia
messes up the usage statistics.
Since Job Monarch must piggy back off an existing node, I must use
BATCH_HOST_TRANSLATE to map l

there is no concept of nodes containing other nodes in ganglia (like you could
probably have if partitioning with LPARs or other similar alter

I will check with the jobmon list,
jobmonarch runs on the head nodes.
Regarding ganglia, is there a way to tell it to ignore a node ?
I tried to use:
BATCH_HOST_TRANSLATE : ... , /localhost.localdomain//
to no avail, I'm guessing that it is seen as invalid syntax and ignored.
Thanks
Daniel
Hi Team,
I have setup a cluster similiar to this in Unicast mode using Ganglia
3.0.7.
Currently I am able to see the graphs for all nodes individually. I want
the GUI to appear like this: Once I select node 1 , it must :
a)give the graphs for node 1 and
b)must also indicate that it has 2 n

Hi,
my setup is as follow, 2 PBS head nodes running torque, moab ,
ganglia and a group of compute nodes running pbs_mom. Ganglia's gmond is
running on the headnodes in mute mode.
I'm trying to get rid of the "localhost.localdomain" node that now shows
up in ganglia because job monarch repo
