I make the same call. That particular play isn't about clever assignments or
reads. There's no confusion about what to do. It's just brute strength against
strength. There is no way our big, powerful offensive line doesn't get half a
yard per attempt, even with JB under center. What scares me is

I don't understand why that's odd. We always line up in the shotgun when we
have the ball on the 1. That's part of how we've been so efficient at turning a
1st and goal at the 1 into a 3rd and goal at the 15. :-)
