Everyone must have heard about the verdict. Its amazing, an unbelievable
culmination of an eight year struggle (and the start of another one, but we do
have this win).
What is even more amazing is the historic terms in which Chief Justice A.P.Shah
of the Delhi High Court framed his decision.
Preliminary views, we need to read the judgment carefully:
Question 1) Is this judgment only applicable in Delhi?
Response) This is the first time a court as senior as this, with such respected
judges, has given a decision on homosexuality. Because of that it sends a
powerful signal to the

amendment to 377. Kudos to the learned and SENSIBLE judges for their
understanding of the Constitution.

the ‘Objective Resolution’ moved by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
