other forms of transport became more convenient.)

Dear Geckophiles,
I have a bit of a sad tale to tell of one of our Strophurus ciliaris.
When we got her she had a slight kink at the junction of her tail to her
spine. Over the last year we have watched this kink turn into multiple
kinks and over the last few weeks she has now developed a bum
Dear Geckophiles,
There is a saying in Australia - "I am flat out like a lizard drinking".
It means that one has been so busy to the point that they are totally
exhausted.
Tonight I think I found out where the saying comes from:

I am primarily a breeder of Australian pythons. Our pair of Aussie
geckos, Cilarus, are just something that makes me smile every time I
look into their enclosure.
Three days ago I believe I observed was our little girl's first

This has taken a while but I have some fresh pictures. This time they
were both on the same stick both ended up at the bottom doing a sort of
pole dance.
This stick is directly under the basing light:

You might try a stationary store. Often scales used to weigh mail are
switchable metric and imperial measure.

Dear Stefan,
Thanks for your response.
There are a couple of interesting points in your post.

G'day All,
I am wondering if some of you can shed some light on the leg waving
behaviour of our spiny tailed geckos.
This is a picture of our female. Here she has one leg in the air and

Dear All,
I recently finished my new gecko enclosures. I have to wait a couple of
weeks before the marine varnish is used "goes off" but this has given me
to take some happy snaps and put together a web page showing them and
their design features.
Have a look at:
http://www.herptrader.com.
Many thanks. It is indeed a good care sheet an the only one I found ;-)
"cilaris" on its own was a reasonable key word for the search engines.
There are lots of good pictures out there but not lots of husbandry info.
Photos of our guys can be found at:

G'day Gecko People,
We have taken the plunge and acquired our first pair of geckos.
They are Northern Spiny Tailed Geckos and seem to be thriving in their
